Gooderham to apply in-depth industry experience to direct Wilson Allen’s commercial activities in EMEA
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA (May 23, 2018) – Wilson Allen, a leading provider of software and services that help professional services organizations improve business performance, today announced that Stu Gooderham has joined the company as commercial director for its EMEA operations. In his new role, Gooderham will be directing Wilson Allen’s go-to-market activities in EMEA, as well as localizing and refining its corporate strategy to meet the needs of clients in the region.
Gooderham joins the company from LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions, where he was head of client relations for the U.K. and U.S. markets. In this role, he worked closely with law firms to support their decision-making process around practice management system selection, as well as to develop requirements for a modern management information to enable the firm of the future. He also founded the LexisOne Future Insights Group, which brought together senior representatives from the Top 100 law firms to gain their perspective on industry needs.
Gooderham joined LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions in 2008, following the company’s acquisition of Redwood Analytics, where he was sales director for EMEA and Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, Gooderham was a business manager with Tikit Limited, where he worked with law firms on a wide range of solutions, including document management and customer relationship management (CRM). He also worked as business manager with Interchange Group, responsible for selling service management, CRM, and mobile data solutions to companies in a wide range of industries and always focused on providing clients with excellent service.
Norm Mullock, VP of strategy for Wilson Allen, believes Gooderham, with whom he worked at Redwood Analytics, has the right skillset and understanding of market needs to help Wilson Allen expand its presence. “No one in the market understands what firms really want from their management information systems like Stu,” Mullock explains. “He’s a veteran of the practice management system wars and speaks the discipline’s language. He also understands how the requirements are changing for BI in the legal industry and the increased priority firms are putting on business development. As such, he’ll work very closely with our client services and product teams to successfully meet the needs they’re trying to address through their BI solutions.”
Bruce Wilson, managing director and CEO of Wilson Allen, adds. “Stu’s appointment is important to not only our EMEA operations, but to our global operations as well. Throughout his career, Stu has built strong relationships with firms in the U.K. and the U.S. Plus, he brings a wealth of familiarity in CRM and law firm business development areas, which are growing areas of focus for Wilson Allen, as evidenced by our recent merger announcement with Stanton Allen. We believe he’ll add great value to our business outreach efforts and to the business of our clients.”
Wilson Allen operates from seven offices across the United States, Canada, and the U.K. Gooderham is based in the company’s London office.
