Murphy to Help Law Firms Leverage Elite Software to Access Decision-Support Information

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA (January 14, 2010)….Wilson Allen, a provider of business intelligence services to large and midsize law firms, recently hired Greg Murphy as its vice president of information technology.

Murphy leverages extensive experience with law firms, technology, and Elite software. He uses his skills to help law firm management access critical decision-making information through the development of dashboards, exception reporting, and interactive visualizations.

“Greg has an amazing grasp of business intelligence technologies,” says Bruce Wilson, president of Wilson Allen. “He couples this understanding with solid, hands-on experience with law firms so he can deliver technology solutions that enable valuable insight.”

Previously, Murphy acted as custom solutions manager, business intelligence, for Elite, a leading provider of integrated information solutions to professional services firms worldwide. In this capacity, Murphy was responsible for architecting solutions and customizing business intelligence products. With Elite, Murphy also managed the R&D team for business intelligence.

Prior to Elite, Murphy worked as a consultant with Wilson Technology, a custom legal software provider founded by Bruce Wilson in 1987 that was acquired by Elite in 2005. Murphy holds a BS degree in Business Administration with concentration in MIS and International Business from Drexel University. He resides in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
