NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA (October 7, 2021) – Wilson Allen, provider of software, services, and expertise that help law firms and professional services organizations enhance business performance, today announced the addition of Justin Farmer as Senior Director, Managed Services. In his new role at Wilson Allen, Farmer will be responsible for growing Wilson Allen’s portfolio of managed services offerings. He will work closely with clients and Wilson Allen practice leaders to analyze requirements, define offerings, and create delivery models for specific managed services offerings that help firms improve productivity, lower costs and reduce risk using technology, process improvement, and more efficient outsourcing.
Farmer brings extensive legal technology and product management experience in designing and creating world-class solutions at Thomson Reuters. He has led numerous projects that uncovered unmet needs and created products that were built from the ground up to deliver revenue renewals. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of the shift from on-premises solutions to cloud-based solutions that offer reduced product support and maintenance costs. Farmer believes the key to success in product development is an empathetic orientation that yields a deep understanding of customer challenges and relentless focus on solving customer problems.
Farmer joins Wilson Allen’s strategy team, headed by Norm Mullock, Vice President, Strategy. Mullock believes that Farmer’s approach will help the company engage professional services firms at a higher level. “Justin is very knowledgeable and has a strong reputation for advocating client needs,” Mullock explains. “As we move forward, we need a customer-centric approach to creating managed services offerings. Justin’s approach and product management expertise will be especially helpful with designing solutions that provide value, lower costs, and reduce risks for firms, while creating increased recurring revenues for Wilson Allen.”
“I’ve known Wilson Allen for many years and think very highly of the organization and its people,” Farmer says. “During my time at Thomson Reuters, I witnessed how Wilson Allen created synergistic partnerships with many leading companies in the legal technology market. The company has a broad depth of expertise across all areas of professional services firm operations. I see tremendous opportunity to create managed services offerings that truly impact customer success,” says Farmer.
Farmer received his BS from West Virginia University. He will be working for Wilson Allen from his office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
