Over the last three years, we’ve seen significant changes in the vendor landscape and advances in the technologies available to target, win, and onboard clients. Firms are realising that there is a clear need to understand the value that clients gain from the services that they deliver.  They understand that success should be measured by the feedback that clients provide as opposed to purely financial performance metrics such as profit, leverage, and utilisation. This more client-centric view of firm management is having a major impact on the strategies for system deployment, integration, data management, and reporting.

As a result, firms are looking to re-engineer processes so that they capture the right information at the right time and get it into the hands of those that need it. One of the most striking changes has been to client onboarding processes. By breaking down the traditional silo between CRM and client intake, firms are looking at ways to capture information before, during, and after client onboarding. However, this has uncovered issues with the quality and reliability of conflicts data and obtaining a golden source of truth of company and entity data for both risk and business development.

During this in-person session, Wilson Allen will expand on the challenges of creating a client-centric vision for data management across the entire life-cycle, the technologies that are emerging to help, and the implications that these changes have on how everyone (not just marketing and business development) needs to think about data governance and strategy.
With these building blocks in place, there is no limit to the success your firm can achieve!

Michael Warren, VP of Wilson Allen’s Client Development & Intake practice, has dedicated his career to helping professional services firms successfully implement CRM. In his role at Wilson Allen, Michael helps firms identify the critical success factors for their CRM initiatives and then implement simple, practical, and realistic measures to achieve them.
