The Senior Project Coordinator will play a critical role within our Resource Management Office. They will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience on billable client projects assigned to them, as well as maximizing revenue opportunities. The ability to liaise professionally and in a timely manner with both internal and external team members and stakeholders is a vital part of the role. All client projects are delivered using Wilson Allen’s implementation methodology (RAPID). The Senior Project Coordinator will also be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Resource Management Office when required. The role will report into the Manager of Customer Operations, the duties are to include but not limited to;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • Coordinate projects both internally and externally
  • Understand client expectations and have the ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external resources
  • Schedule resources based on availability and other constraints
  • Review and approve all time, materials and expenses utilized for the projects assigned to them
  • Monitor Budget to Actuals and facilitate Change Orders as needed
  • Assist with creating ad-hoc reports for the services delivery team
  • Provide input to process improvements utilized by, or impacting the RMO
  • Manage the close out of the projects upon completion
  • Fulfil any RMO or operational activities to support the Manager of Customer Operations, when required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Recognized Project Management qualification, Prince2 or similar
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Project Management processes
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a Resource Management Office and exposure to a project delivery team
  • Experience working with MS Projects or software providing similar functionality
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, flexible and motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
