Summary:

The PMO Analyst will play a critical role within our currently established Resource Management Office (RMO) function. Working alongside the Manager, Customer Operations, they will be assisting with the definition and inception of the Project Management Office (PMO) function. Additionally, and pending formal establishment of a PMO function within Wilson Allen, the PMO Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing RMO practice, working closely with our Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure compliance to currently defined processes, procedures and templates. A key part of the PMO Analysts role will be the analysis, manipulation and reporting of project data, including resource schedules, RAID logs, project plans and a range of related project documents. All client projects are delivered using Wilson Allen’s implementation methodology (RAPID). The role will report into the Manager, Customer Operations. The duties are to include but not limited to;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysis, manipulation and reporting of project data, including resource schedules, RAID logs, project plans and a range of related project documents.
  • Providing governance on inflight projects, driving compliance to currently defined standard processes, procedures and templates and reporting any non-compliance.
  • Liaising with and supporting project team members, when required, on resolving resource conflicts, as identified in project data reports.
  • Fulfil any additional operational activities to support the Manager, Customer Operations when required.
  • Assist with the definition and inception of the PMO function.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Recognized Project Management qualification, Prince2 or similar.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Project Management processes.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a PMO (or similar role) with exposure to a project delivery team.
  • Experience working with MS Projects, Smartsheet or software providing similar functionality.
  • Microsoft office proficiency including Excel, Word, MS Projects, Power Point and Visio or similar tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to extract and analyze a range of complex data from multiple sources and subsequently present findings to Senior stakeholders.
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, flexible and motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills.
