Janis provides consulting services around goal-based learning and performance techniques and strategies, including design, evaluation, and performance management. She applies over 30 years’ experience in the legal industry as a training director, change agent, user interface designer, and technology consultant to her role at Wilson Allen. In this capacity, Janis guides stakeholders and users through the change management process before, during, and after any technology initiative. Janis is an advocate of neuroscience principles and brain-based learning and adoption strategies. Her expertise encompasses business process review/analysis, interface design and systems requirements, and strategic planning for achieving training outcomes.

Janis joins Wilson Allen from Capensys, where she was director of consulting services. Previously, she worked as a manager at Baker Robbins for nine years, where she performed a diverse range of consulting services such as business process reviews and workflow analyses in a variety of law firms and consulted with clients on goal-based learning and performance techniques. She designed, managed, and trained matter-centric computing environments for document management systems.

Janis has master’s degrees from Antioch University in both Clinical Psychology and Health Services Administration.
