Career Summary:

The Training Project/Delivery Manager (TPDM) is responsible for delivering high-quality training solutions.  The TPDM guides the Training team in the execution of iterative projects to deliver learning and adoption solutions.  This individual is adept at collaborating with business and technology leaders, managing multiple projects, and delivering solutions that enable our customers to maximize their investment and achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training projects using the appropriate project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently.
  • Manage the training team; responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management and professional development for the team members.
  • Organize training and client teams to provide exceptional, well-rounded end-user experience.
  • Identify user learning requirements and translate into specifications; ensure alignment of requirements with client’s business goals.
  • Manage and report on project timelines; regularly liaise with clients and relevant internal team members to adhere to schedules.
  • Utilize accounting and timekeeping applications to ensure project objectives are attained within budget.
  • Assist in managing the overall delivery of business solutions built upon market-leading products, such as Intapp, Microsoft Suite, iManage, NetDocuments and Thomson Reuters ERP.
  • Educate customers on best practices for optimum training project success.
  • Participate in the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team matrix – managing a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in business development meeting and sales call to represent Wilson Allen and the training team.
  • Represent the company at offsite conferences to generate business and promote Wilson Allen.
  • Execute RMO/PMO tasks by defining a technology delivery roadmap that supports the overall business objectives.
  • Provide support to internal teams to ensure a successful overall client experience.
  • Serve on various internal IT project teams representing the views of the training department.
  • Liaise with company stakeholders and other relevant cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Assist in the overall strategic direction of the Training department roadmap as part of the larger corporate team strategy.
  • Assist in deriving business requirements as they relate to the delivery of training.
  • Identify new applications and enhancements to existing applications that could increase the productivity of the training department.

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of experience managing large-scale technology rollout projects, including:
  • Allocating resources.
  • Managing project spend to budgets.
  • Managing project plans, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Be highly detail oriented.
  • Multitask with ongoing projects and deliverables.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Experience working in “white glove” environments, such as legal, medical, investment banking, etc.
  • Fluency in the Microsoft suite – Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word, Teams.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, or equivalent work experience.
